walk the dogs

I was walking the dogs yesterday. Mask up and earbuds in, because if I’m gonna walk the Earth then I’m gonna have a soundtrack to go along with it. A few steps after crossing the street I realized I’m being yelled at from a car that stopped in the middle of the road. I didn’t hear what they were yelling (earbuds, remember?) but I kinda couldn’t believe it. So I took a moment, raised my hand and waved. Do you think they appreciated the acknowledgment? I feel like they really needed it. Maybe they felt better after that wave.
